Sparkling wine festival Sparkling Sydney is set to return to Pirrama Park in Pyrmont this May. Now, who needs a top-up?

Whether you’re particular about your fizz or you just like sipping bubbles, the epicurean event will feature an array of sparkling wines supplied by 60 different producers and include firm favourites like Prosecco and Moscato, through to the more obscure Zibibbo, Cava and sparkling Malbec, Shiraz and Pinot Chardonnay.

If you were dragged along by your bubbles-loving mate, don’t worry, you can also find craft brews by Six String Brewing Company and Frenchies Brewery, and gin.

It wouldn’t be a sparkling festival without Sydney Rock oysters, which will be freshly shucked by South Coast supplier Ralson Bros. If you’re looking to line the tum, there’ll also be gnocchi by The Gnocchi Way, pizza by Lucio’s Pizzeria and French delicacies by Crepe de France and Frenchies Bistro. BYO picnic blanket.
