O Christmas brie! O Christmas brie!

Cheese royalty Sam and Ellie Studd have teamed up with Mile End Bagels in Melbourne to create a festively flavoured bagel filled with oozy French cheese.

The Studd Siblings are the youngest children of international cheese expert, Will Studd. As part of the family business, they spend their days sourcing, distributing, protecting and sharing some of the world’s most delicious cheeses, that is, when they’re not writing their monthly cheese column for delicious.

If you’re really into cheese too, you’re going to love their Baby Cheesus Bagel special. The festive ring-shaped snack comes stacked with Le Dauphin Double Crème, shaved turkey from Meatsmith, streaky bacon, cranberry sauce, rocket and Kewpie mayo on a wood-fired Mile End bagel.

“We selected Le Dauphin Double Crème for its exceptionally silky and velvety texture and its sophisticated creaminess,” Ellie Studd said. “It’s a fine example of modern cheesemaking methods intersecting with the cheesemaker’s rich knowledge of traditional moulds and yeasts to create a unique cheese. Le Dauphin Double Crème is a cheese of indulgence and a shining Christmas cheese. We haven’t met anyone that doesn’t like it TBH!”

The Baby Cheesus Bagel will be available to try from Mile End Bagels for one week only from Monday, December 13 – Sunday, December 19. For more details, head to: mile-end.com.au.
