With only weeks left until its closure you better get in quick.
The Sydney fine dining scene has been dealt another blow, with Newtown restaurant Oscillate Wildly, announcing it will close its doors at the end of August.
The tiny, two-storey terrace restaurant, which is currently ranked 55 on the delicious. 100, is known for its highly inventive 8-course degustation menu, created by chef-owner, Karl Firla.
“Due to unforeseen circumstances, the time has come to take up opportunities I have declined in the past and move beyond this small, amazing restaurant,” Firla said.
“It is with great honour and respect I have decided not to change the business that myself and so many wonderful people have worked very hard to build and maintain, but to say farewell to our current address.”
Oscillate Wildly’s last degustation will be served on Saturday, August 31.
