Say hello to the North Shore's greenest new drinking den

Green Moustache

Green Moustache is the latest venue from the Treehouse and Art House team.

Cities tend to be a concrete jungle, which is exactly why Sydney’s latest bar is instead a green oasis offering respite from the skyscrapers sitting outside its doors. Settled into the ever-growing North Sydney precinct is Green Moustache, a greenery-laden drinking den from the team behind Treehouse and Art house; Andrew Utiger, Matt Erby and David Maisey.
Inspired by holiday vibes, the city-based haven has been created in unison with architect John Cochrane, industry expert interior designer Ruth Harris and graphic designer Melanie Topham.

Taking care of the food offering is co-owner David Maisey (previously of Merivale and now head chef of Treehouse), Green Moustache chef Peter Fitzsimmons (of Chin Chin) and pastry chef Alfredo Jr Peralta (of Nomad). The fare will largely revolve around modern interpretations of Australian favourites, accompanied by a drinks menu from head bartender Aby Dedej and sommelier Julien Perrimond that is promised to be more than a little globally inspired.
