A Nutella food truck with free breakfast is coming

Nutella is now coming to you

A road trip celebrating the sweet spread is making its way up from Sydney to the Sunshine Coast.

Leaping out of bed in the morning come winter is near impossible. But sweet spread creator Nutella plans on making that journey from bed to boardroom a little easier this year with the return of the Nutella Food Truck.

The road trip, winding its way from Sydney to the Sunshine Coast, will be celebrating the sweeter side of breakfast options with Nutella fans along the way. The Nutella Food Truck, manned by chef Alistair Fogg from The Nighthawk Diner, will be doling out free Nutella-accented breakfasts for all who visit. There’s a special menu of six indulgent creations that have been dreamt up by the team – think sweet potato and crushed pretzels on a toasted brioche, as well as homemade granola drizzled with Nutella (naturally).

“We’re so thrilled to be hitting the road again this year with Nutella Road Trip and this time heading close to my hometown in Northern NSW, en route to the Sunshine Coast. We cannot wait to serve the new exciting creations and inspire Aussies to get creative with Nutella in the morning. We’re expecting to draw big crowds on this trip so my advice is to get there early so you don’t miss out,” said Alistair.

Specifically, the Nutella Food Truck will be visiting Sydney, Manly, Penrith, Central Coast, Newcastle, Port Macquarie, Coffs Harbour, Northern Rivers, Byron Bay, Gold Coast, Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. The full itinerary can be viewed online.

While we eagerly await the arrival of the food truck we’re turning to this incredible Nutella and pretzel slice.
