With a reservations backlog that can last for months, trust us, you'll want to book this one as soon as you can.
Now you’ve got even more chance of landing a table at Totti’s. Word on the street is that the laidback Italian tratt could be opening its doors in Byron this year.
The new venue is slated to take over a site recently purchased by Justin Hemmes on Jonson Street, previously occupied by Cheeky Monkey’s Restaurant & Bar.
The new restaurant will mark Justin Hemmes’s first venue on the north coast and will bring the Totti’s tally to three, with two existing outposts in Bondi and the Sydney CBD.
One of the hardest tables to land in Sydney, Totti’s is a laidback Italian trattoria with a focus on antipasto plates, such as housemade ‘nduja, marinated sardines, premium cured meats, and who could forget the woodfired puffy bread, which has risen to cult status.
Not just a big win for Byron, it also means Sydneysiders can book their favourite restaurant at home and on holidays.
Merivale has not yet confirmed the opening. A spokesperson for Merivale said: “We are exploring a number of restaurant concepts for the Jonson Street property. Plans will be announced in due course”.
