Coming for a limited-time are two of the fast food giant’s most requested meals.
We’ve cracked the recipe for the infamous Big Mac. Try your own hand at the classic burger, here.
While McDonald’s isn’t renowned for its culinary prowess, that doesn’t mean that the takeaway titan doesn’t take feedback on board. Much to the delight of fast food addicts, the chain has confirmed that two new (and much requested) menu items about to hit, and you may have met them before.
For a limited amount of time, McDonald’s will be introducing two of its most requested meals to stores. First and foremost the Chicken Big Mac will be landing. The same concept as the beloved Big Mac original, this variation will see (you guessed it) chicken patties replace the traditional beef and topped with the beloved (and very secret) special sauce.

To accompany your Chicken Big Mac, you will now also be able to indulge in some Shaker Fries. A hybrid of sorts, the fries are a traditional McDonald’s salty chip that comes equipped with a sachet of cheeseburger flavouring. Shake them up and voila, Shaker Fries. First welcomed to McDonald’s in 2011, the revamped fries were eventually faded off the menu but attracted somewhat of a cult following.
For McDonald’s it’s a chance to shake things up. “The iconic Big Mac and the McChicken are among our most popular burgers, so it made sense to mix up these two classics and give our customers a new and exciting product to try — the Chicken Big Mac,” explains McDonald’s Australia’s CMO Jenni Dill.

Both products will be available in McDonald’s around the nation from today until July 18.
