This month, Event Cinemas has launched Event Boutique, a new premium cinema experience that includes an artisan food menu, designer recliners and a high-tech viewing experience.

Designed in collaboration with some of the country’s best producers – including Sonoma Bakery and Vic’s Meats – moviegoers can now order platters of cured meats and cheeses, smashed avocado bruschetta and a David Blackmore wagyu burger. Beyond the choc-tops, you’ll also be able to get your hands on cinnamon doughnuts and premium pints of ice cream, with all menu items delivered by waiter to your chair.

Each Event Boutique will have its own unique interiors. At George Street Cinemas you’ll find a book-lined library and a paparazzi-themed room, which channels the glamour of the red carpet. The cinemas also offer an unrivalled viewing experience, which sees world-class 4K laser projection technology paired with a state-of-the-art Dolby 7.1 audio system.

Following extensive customer research, Event Boutiques has adopted designer recliners that come with adjustable head and footrests. Chairs are grouped in intimate configurations of twos and fours.
