The Gambaro Group have been apart of the Brisbane hospitality scene since the 1950s, when Giovanbaptista Gambaro opened the family’s fish and chip shop of the same name. From there the family-run group grew, establishing the Gambaro seafood restaurant in 1972 (the oldest established restaurant in Brisbane), a luxury boutique hotel landed on Caxton Street in 2014, shortly following the launch of Black Hide Steakhouse across the road.
