Cucinetta (South Yarra)
Forget about making lunch or dinner, Cucinetta are offering drive-thru pick-up of their famous ravioli cacio e pepe with truffle ($26). Want something slow cooked? Try the beef cheek with sliced crispy potatoes ($33) with sides of caprese salad ($10), and oven-baked cauliflower ($10) and finish with a creamy tiramisu ($20) or panna cotta ($10). Coffee, paninis, pastries and more are also available via their Cosi La Dolce Vita Cafe. And try mains like marinara linguine ($33), and veal milanese ($37) from sister restaurant Cosi – with drive-thru takeaway open every day from 7am.
Ishizuka (Melbourne CBD)
Ishizuku are offering luxury bento boxes with high-quality Australian and Japanese produce for drive-thru pick-up from Wednesday to Sunday between 3pm and 6pm. The bento box is available for $150 and serves up to two people, and the premium bento, which caters for up to four people, is $350. Pre-orders are essential, and don’t forget to have a look at the wine list, too.
Mister Bianco (Kew)
The team at Mister Bianco are answering all delivery and pick-up needs with their cook-at-home and ready-made meals. Choose from DIY slow cooked lamb shoulder with green olives, carrot and black lentils for two ($23) and assorted freshly made pastas. Or if you’re more in the mood for something ready-made, there are Sicilian dishes to choose from the likes of cavatelli prawns with peas in a pea broth ($24), and saffron fish casserole ($28).
Miznon (Melbourne CBD)
Lucky for us, Miznon are offering delivery from Monday to Saturday, 12pm to 8pm. Enjoy dinner for two with baby cauliflower, green beans, chicken schnitzel or wagyu stew, pita salad and chocolate mousse ($60) and keep an eye out for Friday specials and the generous drinks list. Keep in mind, there’s a minimum $50 spend for delivery.
Montalto (Red Hill)
Taking take-away to the next level are Montalto’s heat-and-eat pizzas, offering pairings of salami with mozzarella, parsley and cherry tomatoes, or mushroom with taleggio and rosemary. While you’re ordering, take a look at the wine, beer and cider list, and pantry items like extra virgin olive oil, dukkah and olives. Pick-up is available from 11am-4pm daily, and delivery on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons from 12pm-4pm.

Punch Lane (Melbourne CBD)
One of Melbourne’s coolest laneway hotspots has created a bespoke four-person DIY dinner party meal plan for $240 – and you can’t miss it. The menu includes a choice of cured ocean trout, citrus, pickled rhubarb and horseradish cream, or a charcuterie selection, followed by Wagyu beef bourguignon with silky mash, and green beans, finishing off with an apple and rhubarb crumble with vanilla custard. A free bottle of wine is available for orders over $125 and home delivery is $5.
RuYi Modern Chinese (Melbourne CBD)
Our prayers have been answered – Ruyi Modern Chinese are offering drive-thru dumplings, bao and so much more with their iso-inspired launch, RuYi@Home. The dumplings are made fresh daily from premium local ingredients and come alongside the restaurant’s magic sauce, so you can make your dumplings as good as a RuYi dine-in. Look out for the classic shao long bao ($18), crispy spring onion pancake ($15) and everyone’s favourite bbq pork buns ($12). To polish your pallet, grab a bottle of The Pass Sauvignon Blanc ($25) or Bluemark Shiraz ($35).
Saint Urban (Richmond)
Enjoy the benefit of pick-up and delivery from this Richmond wine bar, with dishes like confit ocean trout with sorrel sauce and seasonal greens ($32), Nuno’s family chicken and leek pie with celeriac and potato gratin ($68), or Basque chicken and chorizo stew ($26). There’s also pantry items and cured meats on offer, and a complimentary bottle of wine with all orders over $125.
Tokyo Tina (Windsor)
Never miss out on Tokyo Tina’s modern Japanese dishes by ordering via your usual delivery apps, or picking up meals on-site. Don’t go past the okonomiyaki Japanese pancake with cabbage, spring onion, bonito and yuzu aioli ($13), or the crispy sticky eggplant with red vinegar and sesame ($14). Enjoy a carefully curated menu that includes dishes like yoghurt soup, slow braised lamb shoulder, pilav and pan fried baby kipfler potatoes or heirloom tomato salad and baklava ($40). Feel like some seafood? Try the Yagiz Sea Side menu with lentil soup, steamed market fish with risoni, and pan fried kipfler potatoes or heirloom salad ($35). Wine is also available for takeaway, and you can either pick-up from the restaurant, or get home delivery – both available Tuesday to Saturday between 5pm and 8pm.

Stock up on freshly made pastries that are baked on-site daily with high-quality natural ingredients, and wash it down with some of the best coffee in the CBD.
