Particularly in the café realm, with its latest addition Goodfields Eatery in Lindfield. The all-day breakfast and lunch space was created by father and son duo George and Anthony Karnasiotis (ex. The Butcher’s Block, Wahroonga), who were eager to offer the burgeoning district an eatery in which they can escape from the hustle and bustle of the world outside.

“We wanted to create a well-designed space that has a unique food and coffee offering for the local community. Our menu is a combination of classics and comfort mixed with quirky and fun,” co-owner Anthony Karnasiotis said of Goodfields’ intentions.

Food here is full of favourites, as well as the slightly more decadent delight. Brunch dishes include the downright lavish butter-roasted lobster tail on a seeded bagel with poached eggs and hollandaise. For lunch there’s a lamb ragu or the slow-roasted lamb shoulder, partnered with homemade labneh and thick cut chips. Enjoy with a cup of Five Senses coffee, or one of the wine or beer options on the drinks menu.

Settled across from Lindfield Station, the Goodfields space has been created by Giant Designs. Their resulting vision is an airy venue, interwoven with light oak timbers, brown leathers, white walls and the increasingly important ample array of greenery.
