Australia’s favourite Frenchman and now delicious. reviewer, Manu Fieldel joins Tobie Puttock and the team at Jamie’s Ministry of Food to kick off the Friends of Jamie’s Ministry of Food programme.
This initiative aims to raise funds for the ongoing delivery of Jamie Oliver’s home cooking schools in Australia, delivered by not for profit, The Good Foundation.
The programme will begin with an auction for a dinner for 12 cooked by Manu and Tobie, who are the first Aussie chefs to join Jamie in supporting this important cause.
“I have followed Jamie’s Ministry of Food campaign for some time now and am excited to be involved, Australia is a wonderful country and as a chef I find it hard to see all the bad food choices still being made. I’m passionate about educating people that good food doesn’t need to be difficult or fussy,” says Manu.
The first dinner auction will go live on the 1st of June, running for ten days providing Australians with the opportunity to bid for a once in a lifetime three course dinner event with matched wines, all in the name of good food and cooking education for all. The dinner will take place in Sydney on 20th June 2018.
