Just call it a delicious coincidence. This February 7, the Oxford Art Factory will host an Espresso Martini Festival set to a soundtrack of 90s and 00s bangers. Alongside the classic coffee cocktail, you’ll also be able to order a Golden Gaytime and Double Choc Chip remix, with all three priced at just $10 a pop. Now that you’re all buzzed up, ride the caffeine high to the Mr Black Backyard Espresso Martini Fest, held on February 8 at Marrickville’s Factory Theatre. Mr Black’s mobile bar will be pouring out a number of Aussie-inspired concoctions, including Caramello-tinis and boozy Tim Tam slams. Channel those jitters into a game of Bogan Bingo or binge on something delicious from the Katherine Sabbath bake sale, with all funds raised donated to bushfire-affected communities.

One of New York’s most influential bars – Death & Co – will be resurrected in Melbourne this week. Named America’s Best Cocktail Bar in 2010, the not-so-spooky speakeasy will be putting on a set-menu, which includes two shots, three killer cocktails and to-die-for snacks.
