A new plant-based eatery has landed in Bondi and it’s not your usual salad sanctuary

Expect pizzas, burgers, hotdogs and a giant cookie served in the skillet.

The latest plant-based diner to hit Bondi ditches the dhal for casual beachside eats, like pizza, burgers, hot dogs and cocktails.

Called Eden, the new venue was created by Bondi locals and plant-based personalities, Tanya Smart, who owned previous veg-friendly venue, Conscious Feast, and Simon Hill from popular Instagram account, blog and podcast, Plant Proof.

Taking over the pans is Claudia Pantoja, who hails from Alibi vegan kitchen in Woolloomooloo. Her laidback menu includes easy-to-please items like popcorn cauliflower, margarita pizza and a plant-based hotdog and cheeseburger, loaded with cheddar and pickles on a sweet potato bun.

Other eye-catching treats include the Spanish doughnuts topped with coconut ice-cream and a giant cookie served warm from the skillet.

Wash it down with a beer, wine or cocktail, with many of the mixed drinks made from organic spirits, freshly pressed juices and native sodas.

If the sun’s out, head out to the courtyard where you’ll find picnic tables nestled amongst the venue’s very own garden of Eden.
