Authentic Neapolitan pizza in the CBD? That’s amore!
While we can’t yet travel overseas, transport yourself to Italy at Vanto in the Queen Victoria Building. The Ospitalità Italiana certified restaurant focuses on traditional Italian family recipes with a modern twist.
All Vanto’s doughs are matured for 60-72 hours for a lighter bite that is fragrant and easier to digest – perfect heading into the hotter seasons.
The restaurant is manned by award-winning chef Luigi Peluso who was born in Naples and trained in the art of making pizza from a young age.

The pizzeria makes for an upgraded out-of-office lunch break and is a short walk from Town Hall station. Surrounded by the beautiful Romanesque architecture of the Queen Victoria Building, double the trip as a tourist attraction for visiting friends and family.
Vanto’s menu keeps to the classics with a focus on quality, locally sourced ingredients. Their wood-fired pizzas have traditional, wholemeal or housemade gluten-free bases to pick from.

There’s something for everyone with pastas, salads, panuzzo (woodfired sandwiches), antipasti and desserts to top it off.
Vanto is open five days a week and is located on Level 1 of the QVB.
