Seduce all the senses at Leppington’s newest foodie destination, 14 North 108 East. A seamless blend of traditional and modern Vietnamese culture, the suburbs latest venue is brought to life through spirited artworks and flavoursome food and drink. 

Brought to you by the good folk behind Espresso Warriors and Another Burger Joint, know you’re in good hands here. The name 14 North 108 East is a clever nod to the geographical coordinates for the Vietnamese city, Pleiku – an area of personal significance for the owners. 

Guests can expect all-day dining in a casual space, featuring a relaxed café and breakfast bar, main dining hub and sophisticated cocktail bar. Breathtaking floor-to-ceiling murals have been designed by Sydney-based muralist and visual artist, Sophi Odling. The unique imagery is inspired by her travels across Asia, featuring bold colours and graphic female silhouettes. 

14 North 108 East has a pan-Asian inspired menu, focusing on shared dishes. Prepare to feast on traditional Vietnamese delights, with standout dishes including son-in-law eggs, enoki beef skewers, banh xeo with pork and prawns, and salmon and papaya. Don’t leave without trying the banana spring roll for dessert. This cult favourite sees a deep fried banana wrapped in pastry, before being smothered in butterscotch sauce and coconut ice cream.

Drinks have been designed with Asian flavour combinations in mind, with easy-to-sip classics like the Smoking Old Fashioned and Peaches the Moscow Mule. The venue has also worked closely with local wine distributors to curate a wine list that showcases boutique Australian wineries. 

For those based outside of Sydney, 14 North 108 East in Westfield Woden opened in April 2019 as part of the area’s new dining precinct. Like it’s sister site in Sydney, the Vietnamese eatery has a warm ambience and a 20 metre long painting of 3 Vietnamese women, by Sophi Odling.
