The claws are out: A Champagne and lobster bar has opened in Melbourne

Don't be shellfish

And it's totally cray.

Hooked on lobster rolls? You’re in luck. Champagne and lobster bar and former Emporium pop-up Pinchy’s has just scuttled into its new home on Bourke Street, Melbourne.

Helmed by executive chef Pierre Khodja, the stylish seafood shack serves up a selection of seafood rolls, stuffed with Maine red lobster, Alaskan king crab and poached prawns, then slathered with accoutrements like parsley butter and caper mayonnaise, on a crunchy French roll. The menu also includes a number of sea-faring snacks like crab croquettes and lobster bisque, alongside chips and salad.

Turn it into a bougie brunch with a glass of Champagne or French rosé. Even the most penny pinching will find something within their budget. Rolls start at just $13, or if you’re happy to shell out, there’s also a $40 meal deal which includes a Maine lobster roll with fries, salad and a glass of Veuve Clicquot.

Interiors take inspiration from the crustacean, with rose-pink terrazzo tables paired with gold bubble lighting and a splashy neon claw.
