Friday night drinks, sorted.
The hospitality group behind North Shore stalwarts SoCal and The Botanist has branched out with a leafy new eatery in North Sydney.
Located on Mount Street in the North Sydney business district, RAFI will lure office workers out for Friday night drinks with its impressive 300-seat restaurant and vast al fresco areas, including a tree-lined Arbour Bar.

The venue has been given a playful update by leading design firm Luchetti Krelle. Floor-to-ceiling windows create a light-filled space, highlighting the exuberant colours and patterns of the dining room’s many artworks and graphic furnishings.
Take your spritz out onto the terrace where you’ll find The Arbour, a glasshouse bar surrounded by coloured umbrellas and sun loungers.

Guests can build their own bespoke cocktail around a seasonal shrub by selecting their own spirit, mixer and serving style, or choose a summery sipper from the cocktail list, which includes a strawberry-spiked Fregola Fizz and pineapple-flavoured Tropicalé. A handpicked selection of local beers and wines will also be available.

As for food, the menu will be made up of seasonal small plates with a focus on sustainably sourced seafood and vegetables cooked over charcoal. Start your snacking spree with Cantabrian anchovies with hojiblanca olive oil or a raw platter, stocked with kingfish ceviche, scallops, and tuna. Dial up the summer vibes with grilled lobster and cultured butter or a seared Angus flat-iron steak with a vibrant chimichurri dressing.
