The menu will be divided into 'grill' and 'anti-grill'.
Celebrity chef Sean Connolly is known for his upscale restaurants in Dubai, Auckland, Sydney, Adelaide and Byron Bay. Today, he adds Rooty Hill to the list.
The new butcher shop come bistro, called Steak & Co (with Co standing for crab and oysters), will slot into West HQ, an immense new lifestyle precinct in the heart of Western Sydney.
Similar to Sean’s other offerings, the restaurant will focus on premium steaks and seafood, with the menu divided into ‘grill’ and ‘anti-grill’ sections.
Diners will be able to choose from impressive cuts like a 1kg dry-aged T-bone or grass-fed scotch fillet, all the way down to a retro 180g steak Diane, flambéed in pan juices.

Like sister venue, the Morrison Bar & Oyster room, Steak & Co will also have an oyster shucking station, which will serve briny bivalves on ice alongside Sean’s favourite – crumbed oysters with lemon mayo.
Nineties dinner party starter, the prawn cocktail, will also make an appearance, this time around with salmon caviar pearls and a Bloody Mary mayo.
Can’t decide between land and sea? Get the best of both worlds with a surf and turf steak topped with a half split lobster tail.
Steak & Co is just one of many big name restaurants to have been lured to the shiny new leisure precinct, with Stefano Manfredi’s PizzAperta and Chu by China Doll set to follow shortly.
