The experimental eatery has set its sights on breaking fast.

Australia’s brunch scene is booming and now even Sydney restaurant ACME wants in on the action. From next weekend on February 18, chef Mitch Orr will be taking on the brunch crowds once a week on Saturdays serving up a breakfast offering for fans of the foodie establishment. But as to be expected of the boundary pushing mantra of the eatery don’t expect your traditional breakfast fare.

With a weekly menu change, patrons can expect Asian-twists on a brunch service that will come as a part of a set menu. To be served between the hours of 11am and 2.30pm four courses will be served up as a part of a $50 set. To accompany, there will be coffee, juice, Tea by Teacraft teas and cocktails conjured up by ACME co-owner Ed Loveday (including a spin on the Bloody Mary).
