Staking its claim as Melbourne’s highest rooftop bar, Fable is hanging onto summer with its bubbly brunch package. Over the two-hour session, spritzy cocktails showcasing the botanically infused Grey Goose Essences make up the bottomless part of the deal, alongside bubbles and non-alcoholic cocktails. They all play nicely with the canapes on offer, which might include beetroot stracciatella, citrus-cured Yellowtail kingfish and chicken croquettes. If you’re into a little over-stimulus with your brunch, head to chef and restaurateur Jessi Singh’s distinctive offering at four-storey pub Mr Brownie. Much like Singh’s other venues, including Melbourne’s Daughter In Law and Sydney’s new Pinky-Ji, you can expect a barrage of colour, music and eclectic decor (read: fun) that matches the punch of Singh’s trademark “unauthentic Indian” food. This bottomless brunch is excellent value, comprising five entrees – think paneer sliders, tandoori chicken and Indian fried chicken – plus bottomless wine and tap beers, and one special cocktail of the day.

There are certain weekends that call for a hearty, drip-down-your-chin meal to break the fast, and when that strikes, Le Bon Ton is the place to be. Here, the bottomless brunch does an impressive job of soaking up the sins of the night before, but the tricky part is choosing just one southern-style barbecue dish from the set menu. There’s a cheeseburger and four sandwiches, filled with either mushroom, brisket, chopped pork or fried chicken, and you can wash it all down with the included Mimosas, Highballs and Hurricanes. It’s enough to get the party started all over again.

The slick 80 Collins Precinct has fast become a hot favourite in town, with Farmer’s Daughters one of its buzziest drawcards. A provenance-based approach has seen the crack team put Gippsland’s produce under the spotlight since opening mid-2022, and the Victorian region also shines in the bottomless brunch. The two-hour package serves up some of the venue’s best-loved dishes on its rooftop terrace, with cured meats, crudo, soda bread and a pork and leek pie among the hits. Brunch gets a spicy twist at Bang Bang, where the menu leans French-Indochine. The likes of mini tuna burgers, pork skewers and Chiang Mai chicken are featured on the five-dish menu, which all make a mean match for the mimosas, gin and juice, wine and beer poured as part of the package. And despite Bang Bang’s enticing interiors, the venue’s outdoor courtyard is peak brunching territory.
