Quite a few Tasmanian pubs claim to be Australia’s oldest continually licensed venue. We’re not going to split hairs on that, but it’s safe to say that the state has a handle on pints and pots (or, as they’re also known on the island, “10 ounces”.) Add some seriously top-quality wines and spirits, a booming craft beer scene and chefs that can handle Tassie’s fine-dining quality produce, and you’ve got a winning combo.
