A new waterfront bistro has landed in Manly, offering fancy French fare just a short stroll from the beach. Located within the lobby of the Novotel Manly Pacific, the new bistro specialises in seafood, with plenty of upscale options that go beyond the nearby fish and chips. There’s also an open-air courtyard for when aperitif o’clock hits.

For a more casual affair or leisurely liaison, a bar menu offers up cheese platters and charcuterie, best enjoyed wine in hand. If you’re after something sparkling, there’s prosecco, moscato and Champagne, as well as sparkling rosé list. Cocktails cover off on all the French classics, while the wine list is patriotic, with a strong selection of both French and Australian vins.
