From the team behind Il Bacaro and Bar Carolina comes playful little sister, Marameo, an Italian restaurant and bar which brings the art of aperitivo to a sun-drenched terrace setting.

Chris Connell Design has transformed the previously moody space, formerly housing Sarti, to reflect Marameo’s playful character. This includes an extensive dedicated bar space and a north-west facing terrace, as well as a new white marble and timber dining room, brightened with burnt orange accents.

Take advantage of golden hour, from spritz and snacks on the terrace followed by house-made pasta and grilled meats in the chic interior dining room. Alongside newcomers like tagliatelle with rabbit and hazelnuts and crunchy cones of wagyu tartare cannoli, you’ll also find a few old favourites from its former Sarti days (including the five-layer tiramisu).

Developed by Michael Badr and sommelier Tom Maiden, the drinks list features a dedicated spritz offering alongside classic Italian cocktails and a 300+ strong wine list.
