Danielle Elia and James Anthony, the couple behind Bowlsome, Public and Way Back When have just opened their seventh venue, a Mediterranean-inspired all-day diner in North Adelaide.

A Mediterranean all-day diner by the Bowlsome team has just opened in North Adelaide
Pop in for wood-fired pizza and housemade gnocchi in lush pink surrounds.
The interiors
The former Paesano site has been given a light and airy fit-out which combines pink and peppermint with relaxed rattan seating. Key features include the rose-coloured vein cut travertine tiles – inspired by The Calile Hotel in Brisbane – and a floating brass rail, which keeps the space feeling bright and open.
The food
Weekend brunch is the time to come with tables tossing up between the French toast with strawberries and pistachio gelato and the poached eggs with beetroot cured salmon and crispy salmon skin. Otherwise, swing by late for hot sopressa pizzas and limoncello spritz. For all other times, there’s flaky pastries made in house.
The drinks
An onsite bar will up serve up South Australian wines, with a strong focus on Champagnes and sparkling wines. The cocktail selection will include an Aperol and limoncello spritz, alongside a number of fresh and floral sips suited to daytime drinking.
