Taking over from the Pavilion, Terrace on the Domain brings an all-day eatery and bar to the rolling green lawns of the Domain, Sydney. Surrounded by lush parklands and city skyline views, the outdoor venue will serve casual Italian eats and aperitivo cocktails from a leafy alfresco setting.

The garden party interiors combine botanical prints with forest green accents, with the venue completed surrounded by glass to let the natural light flood in. If the sun’s shining, head out to the deck where timber picnic tables provide the perfect place to spread out with woodfired pizzas and vino.

The rustic Italian menu celebrates the best in local produce, with seasonal dishes like chilli and garlic clams with tagliolini and burrata and beetroot salad drizzled in a walnut vinaigrette. There’s also grab-and-go paninis if you would rather explore the parklands or laze about on the grass.

An outdoor terrace bar will open till late serving classic aperitivo-style cocktails including a sunshine-refracting Aperol Spritz and bittersweet Italiano Sour. The menu also includes beers on tap and an edited selection of Australian and Italian vino. Early morning joggers might prefer a cold-pressed juice or a Double Roasters coffee to-go.
