Pass the popcorn!

Calling all movie enthusiasts! You can now recreate that authentic cinematic experience at home with Cabury’s new Choc Tops. In collaboration with Peters Ice Cream, the choc tops are just like the real thing – only better!

Available in two flavours, the classic movie treats are loaded to the brim from the chocolatey top right down to the crunchy tip. If you’re an Oreo fan, you’ll love the vanilla ice cream, folded with chewy Oreo cookie chunks and piped into a dark chocolate cone.

Prefer the classics? Grab a chocolate-dipped cone with a crackling chocolate cap and velvety vanilla ice cream with a surprise chocolate swirl inside it.

Senior brand manager at Peters Ice Cream, Vanessa Mason, said in a statement, “We’re absolutely thrilled to launch these extraordinary new creations in Australia and deliver an indulgent twist on a nostalgic frozen treat that’s perfect for movie lovers of all ages.”

“It’s all about bringing the full cinema experience into the comfort of your living room.” Don’t mind if we do.

The new ultimate couch snacks come in four packs which means no more running to the candy bar and missing plot twists for you! So what are you waiting for? Put the popcorn in the microwave, queue up a flick and stock the freezer with your beloved cinema fav.

Can you bring your own food to the cinema?

Most movie theatres have a strict policy when it comes to smuggling in your own snacks. Two women in New Zealand recently had the police called on them for violating this rule.

Hoyts Cinemas has an extensive list of no-nos that we want to know the story behind, saying “No alcohol, bottles, cans, aerosols, glass, outside food or beverages, laser pointers, large bags, personal stereos, electronic equipment, rollerblades, bicycles, scooters or skateboards are permitted, unless otherwise advised.”

Cadbury Choc Tops are available now at major supermarkets from $11.50. Oreo Choc Tops are available exclusively at Woolworths.
