Don’t toy with us! After announcing a new caramel slice-inspired Golden Gaytime in early July, Streets has finally brought the goods to supermarket freezers.

The iconic toffee and vanilla ice cream has been given a caramelly glow up with a rich brown sugar-like interior and shortbread-style cookie crumbs on the outside. The signature chocolate dip has been doubled down to replicate the classic snap of a really good caramel slice and is it time for dessert yet?

Arriving just in time for the warmer weather, the only thing that could improve the bakery favourite is an icy cold riff.

The Caramel Slice Golden Gaytime will join the existing range of tasty treats, which includes Chocolate Oak, the colourful Birthday Cake flavour, Vanilla Malt Shake, Strawberries & Cream, and of course the plant-based classic Golden Gaytime.

The Caramel Slice Golden Gaytime is available at as a four-pack at Woolworths for $10, as well as other supermarkets around Australia. 

What flavour is a Golden Gaytime?

A classic Golden Gaytime is toffee and vanilla-flavoured ice cream, dipped into dark compound chocolate and coated with vanilla-flavoured biscuit crumbs.
