A new homeware item we didn’t know we needed has arrived courtesy of the cheese masters at Vannella Cheese and bespoke candle makers Nonna’s Grocer. The time has come at last: the most adorable and lifelike burrata candles.

Four months in the making, the chubby little cherubs are made from natural soy wax and have been cast using a real life burrata ball for that authentico cheesy slump.

For those not in the know, the team at Nonna’s Grocer makes incredible lifelike candles that replicate our favourite foods, from dimpled navel oranges and vibrant fennel bulbs to crocodile-skinned avocados and more.

The burrata candle is perfection as a table centrepiece or a gift for your cheese-loving friends, and we reckon it’s worth throwing in a trio of tomato candles for the full caprese experience. Just warn your guests before they try to hoe in.
