Wait until you see what Aldi's marketing team has to say about it.

In the world of high fashion, Moschino has really taken the cake – or rather, the bread. Their latest accessory line is fresh off the runway and straight out of the grocery aisles. The Italian luxury house now offers a range of food-themed handbags, sure to make you the talk of the bakery.

For just $1,827, you could be the proud owner of Moschino’s baguette-shaped bag. It’s the perfect accessory if you’re tired of carrying around bags that look like handbags and are feeling a little bit tricksy. The haute gluten is ideal for anyone who’s always wanted to feel like a walking boulangerie.

The nonsense continues with the rosetta bread roll bag, which can be yours for the low, low price of $1,273. With this crumbly addition, you too can own a bag that looks like it belongs in the bread bin, not the closet.

Then there’s the celery-shaped handbag for $6,778, offering a dash of health-conscious chic to your wardrobe. Because who doesn’t want to shell out six grand to carry something that resembles the cheapest item in the veggie section?

And just when you thought they couldn’t top it, Moschino has also introduced a literal paper bag for $825. Made from recycled paper and coated with a water-resistant plastic film, the bag is stamped with a Panetteria Moschino logo and is reminiscent of a packed lunch.

Not one to let a trend slip by, supermarket giant Aldi has entered the chat, releasing a tongue-in-cheek ad declaring their celery costs just 75p. After all, why pay for couture celery when you can just… buy celery?

To be fair, we’d absolutely accept these bags as a gift and are maybe just a teeny tiny bit jealous. There’s a pizza slice bag and a watermelon clutch, for crying out loud! But until our numbers come up in the lottery, we’re just going to sit here and pretend we’re above it all.
