Wackadoo!
Just when you thought Bluey couldn’t get any better, think again. For the first time ever, two of Australia’s most beloved icons are coming together for a weekend of pure nostalgia and joy.
To mark the 45th anniversary of The Australian Women’s Weekly Children’s Birthday Cake Book, BBC Studios is opening the doors to the Bluey Duck Cake Cafe – where Heeler fans can step into Bluey’s universe and honour the legendary birthday sponge.

Kids (and their grown-ups) will be able to decorate their own Duckling Cupcakes as well as meet the very person who invented the Australian staple, Agnes Lee.
The 80-year-old baker emigrated from Hong Kong in 1978, and applied for a job at The Australian Women’s Weekly after seeing an ad in the local paper.
Two years later, Lee created the recipe that would become the centrepiece of thousands of children’s birthday parties and a cherished part of childhood for generations of Australians.
Now, the Duck Cake has received international fame after making an appearance in an episode of Bluey where Bandit, like many other parents, attempts to construct the cake with… mixed results. It’s the effort that matters, okay?

Will Bluey be at the cafe?
