Vanilla slice is the most sacred and beloved of all bakery items in this country, and now it even has a chocolate block created in its honour.

Cadbury has just announced a new Vanilla Passionfruit Slices block, inspired by the iconic bakery treat.

The news was first announced by Australian TikTok user russ.eats who posted an early review of the new flavour, with enthusiastic thumbs up all around.

If you’re more of a caramel slice person, Cadbury will also be launching a caramel slice-inspired block as well as a raspberry hazelnut slice by Curtis Stone – which was also teased by russ.eats but still yet to be confirmed. 

If you prefer a Neenish tart, then you’re out of luck. They haven’t made that one yet (but they probably should).
