As we enter the new year, McDonald’s has gifted us a very special treat.

Posting on the Macca’s Facebook page this morning, the fast-food giant revealed that it will soon be serving Crunchie McFlurrys as part of the new Summer Range menu, and that is just what we need to kick off 2025.

Along with the honeycomb and chocolate soft serve, Macca’s will also bring back the much-loved McOz burger and a Crunchie Sundae, as well as Vegemite seasoning to pair with your fries, if you like that kind of thing.

Just yesterday, the franchise posted a teaser to its online audience, writing, “Can you guess our new collab? It’s bound to shake things up”, immediately setting the audience alight with comments about what it could be.

Of course, nothing gets past Macca’s fans, as they quickly guessed the new inclusion to the summer menu.

“There’s no way I’m trying that,” one Facebook user wrote, after learning of the Vegemite seasoning.

“I think most of us will be pretending those Vegemite shaker fries don’t exist,” another said.

While there were mixed reactions to the Vegemite inclusion, many were delighted about the other Summer Range items.

“McOz is back!! Thank God!!,” one Facebook user wrote. “Why isn’t this an all-year product?”

Those with a sweet tooth were also happy about the new McFlurry flavour, with one user saying, “Crunchie McFlurry’s are my all time favourite in the whole wide world!”

McDonald’s new Summer Range will be available from 10:30am Wednesday, January 8 for a limited time.
