They’ve done it again. Oreo has double stuffed its way into our hearts with a brand new flavour, the New York Cheesecake Oreo.

A cheeky Instagram post by your eye in the aisles, @nectoriouspapi this week leaked the news and yes, we ran to check availability. For the new flav, Oreo is stepping away from the usual onyx chocolate biscuits, and replacing them with blonde vanilla biscuits, sandwiching a generous filling of zesty cheesecake-inspired cream.

The cookie company held a competition earlier this year when they opened up for suggestions for the new cookie flavour, and evidently some snack genius stepped up to the plate prepared, gifting us the mash up we never knew we needed.

A spokesperson from Oreo confirmed that we can expect to see the new cookies at major retailers and supermarkets within the next few days but if you ask us, it can’t come soon enough.
