Curry in a hurry.
You can take a load off, Darren Robertson, Andy Allen and Mark LaBrooy from the Three Blue Ducks are taking care of dinner tonight. The trio of well-known chefs have just launched a new line of ready-made meals into Woolworths and QE supermarkets.
Available at selected Woolworths Metros across New South Wales and Victoria, and QE Food Stores in New South Wales, the Three Blue Ducks range is all about high-quality heat-and-eat meals that adhere to the group’s commitment to ethical and organic cooking.

The meals are inspired by Labrooy’s Sri Lankan background and so far include four tasty curries; chicken tikka masala; Sri Lankan chicken curry; mixed grain dahl; and cauliflower korma, all of which have appeared on the Three Blue Ducks menu.
Labrooy said in a statement, “Nana always said she used the flavours of home in her cooking, and I like to think we’ve brought that same philosophy into the meals.”

During the lockdowns, the Ducks sold masses of ready-made meals from their Byron and Bronte restaurants – recognising the demand for convenient meal options catering to the fast-paced lifestyles of Australians, that don’t compromise on quality or flavour. The packaging is also carefully chosen to be eco-friendly, allowing customers to minimise their environmental footprint.
Three Blue Ducks ready-made meals start from $14 and are available now in selected Woolworths Metro supermarkets in NSW and Vic, and at QE Food Stores in NSW.
