Too long have we suffered the indignity of fishing our pickles out of the jar with ineffective forks, scrunched up fingers, or simmering rage as we dump the whole lot out into the sink to get to those precious gherkins. 

A promising solution came to us by way of a Kmart pickle jar earlier this year, the $10 product quickly going viral… then just as quickly going out of stock.

Excitingly, a Kmart spokesperson revealed to news.com.au today that the genius contraption will be back on shelves next month. A true run-don’t-walk situation.

The product works by creating a reservoir for your pickle brine which can be released by simply flipping the container over and popping the lid off. The pickles are strained in one fell swoop and hey presto! Brine reserved, pickles liberated, snack acquired.
