A specialty pop-up arrives to celebrates summer (and nostalgia) in one.
The icy pole was a mainstay in the childhood of most Australians. But 2016 saw the summer treat prove that it wasn’t just reserved for the youth, thanks to the emergence of the alcohol-infused popsicle.
Now the nostalgic treat is available in renditions that border on the gourmet, including those from iycpop. The brand delivers sophisticated takes on the schoolyard favourite with deluxe popsicles that incorporate splashings of premium alcohol, real fresh fruits and natural ingredients.
Hoping to bring some relief to the hot temperatures sweeping the nation, and some joy to those celebrating Australia Day, the brand will be hosting a cocktail-inspired popsicle pop-up with iycpop at The Old Clare Hotel in Chippendale in the coming week.
From January 20-27, four delectable flavours of icy treats will be available to help cool you off. Think fruity combinations of Summer Pear and Elderflower Mojito, Watermelon and Rosewater Martini, White Peach and Lychee Bellini, and Black Cherry Amaretto Sour.
