Allen’s is bringing back Spearmint Leaves, the lolly that no one asked for

Spearmint Leaves.

Haven't we suffered enough?

Allen’s has just announced – again – that it’s bringing the dreaded Spearmint Leaves back and it is not the news we need to hear right now.

The loathed lolly was removed from supermarket shelves in 2015 – with good reason – and we can’t even fathom why they’ve decided to bring them back.

For those who have made themselves forget, Spearmint Leaves are a green leaf-shaped gummy that tastes of spearmint toothpaste. Allegedly, there are fans of the mouthwash-flavoured confection out there, who demanded the return of the ‘treat.’

A post on @thegrocerygeek‘s Instagram dropped the news this week, revealing that the Spearmint Leaves are available now in major supermarkets, and they’re now vegan-friendly.

If you must know, Allen’s Spearmint Leaves are available now in 170g packs for $5.00.
