Arnott’s has gone a little new-flavour-mad recently. Bizza Shapes (that’s barbecue and pizza combined, for the uninitiated), Peppermint Tim Tams, and now the Iced VoVo crossover. It’s a lot to keep on top of.

And as with any bold creative redirection, something had to give.

Enter: Strawberries & Cream Tim Tams, which have been unceremoniously shown the door less than a year after launch.

The flavour itself was… memorable. Sweet, fruity, and faintly reminiscent of a ’90s Lip Smacker (which could be considered nostalgic, depending on your perspective). But nostalgia alone wasn’t enough to secure its place in the Tim Tam lineup, with the new Iced VoVo collaboration seemingly taking its spot.

This departure will be felt most keenly by the white chocolate loyalists. Strawberries & Cream was one of just three variations in that camp, leaving White Chocolate and Mangoes & Cream to carry the torch.

We wish it well in the great biscuit tin in the sky.
