Fat Brad is the cookbook of your dreams, reports Mariam Digges.
He may be in the middle of a messy divorce, but that hasn’t stopped some diehard fans from compiling a cookbook in the actor’s honour.
Dubbed “part fan fantasy, part filmic study”, Fat Brad has been published by pop culture hub Long Prawn.

It might have skipped your attention, but Pitt reportedly spends much of his on-screen time chowing down. If it’s not a shrimp cocktail in Oceans 11 then he’s tucking into Thanksgiving dinner during a Friends cameo or sharing a hearty roast in Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Then of course, there’s that questionable seafood bisque in Fight Club.
In fact, so gluttonous are Brad’s onscreen exploits that they’ve inspired 50 pages worth of recipes, conceived by Melbourne chefs Ali Currey-Voumard and Mietta Coventry and brought to life by Tristian Ceddia of Melbourne studio, Never Now.
Before you throw this in the same crazy bin as Kris Jenner’s In The Kitchen With Kris, or 90s rapper Coolio’s left-of-field Cookin’ With Coolio – surprisingly, this is actually a beautifully-shot book.
Photographer Ben Clement has recreated some of Brad’s most memorable foodie scenes from the flicks, complete with props like faux blood-stained table linen for the ‘Bloody Roast’ in Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Queue your favourite Brad film themed dinner party.
Fat Brad is retailing for $24.99 over at the Long Prawn website.
