Cadbury upgrades its classic Dairy Milk chocolate with smooth new Velvet

More cocoa and more milk make it better in every way.

Cadbury has unveiled a brand new chocolate-eating experience with the launch of its range, Cadbury Dairy Milk Velvet – a smoother, more chocolatey, milk chocolate recipe that has 40 percent more cocoa and 25 percent more milk than regular milk chocolate.

We’re not really sure how that sort of alchemy works, or what has been removed from the ordinary milk chocolate to make space for all that cocoa and milk but that’s none of our business. Just give us the chocolate.

Senior marketing manager, Katrina Watson said, “Cadbury Dairy Milk Velvet is for milk chocolate lovers seeking a smoother, more chocolatey taste but with the same quality they know and expect from Cadbury Dairy Milk.”

Available in two flavours, Velvet milk chocolate and Velvet hazelnut, the blocks have been designed in a new rounded shape to heighten the richer, more chocolatey chocolate. Science really can do anything.

Cadbury Dairy Milk Velvet will be available at major retailers nationwide from Monday, July 29 for $6.00 RRP.
