This Australian favourite is changing forever.
For more than 70 years scores of Australians have turned to the classic purple box of Cadbury Roses for their chocolate fix, but in a shock announcement, the chocolate maker has revealed it will be shaking up its flavours for good.
The move will see the introduction of not only new flavours but also updates to the classic packaging, with the range set to offer a complete sensory experience from taste right through to sound.
It’s not the first time Cadbury have made changes to the chocolate staple, first introducing Mandarin Cream in the 50s, Peppermint Cordial later in the 70s, following by the one-time Lemon Cheesecake in the early 2000s.
The new flavours, which are in stores now, include Peppermint Creme Crunch, Dark Mocha Nougat and Hazelnut Creme Crisp. For the first time ever punters will also find a white chocolate addition with the introduction of the White Raspberry flavour, made using freeze-dried raspberries.
Beyond updates to the flavours and packaging, the shape of each chocolate has also been modernised, with rounder and smoother exteriors and wrappers have been redesigned to prevent accidental unwrapping.
