After a two-year hiatus, Carriageworks welcomes back its popular Night Market as part of Vivid Sydney. Curated by Australia’s leading sustainable chef, Matt Stone, this one-night-only event will celebrate sustainable food practices, embrace authenticity and focus on using the best produce from across NSW. 

The impressive line-up will include top Sydney restaurants like Porcine, Rockpool Bar & Grill, Anason, Queen Chow, Spice Temple, Jimmy’s Falafel, Kepos St Kitchen, Rising Sun Workshop, and more.

Popular Chippendale eatery Rico’s Tacos has created a special menu for the night which will focus on sustainable wild game, while food rescue organisation OzHarvest will offer a sustainably sourced vegetarian menu, with any leftovers distributed to those in need.

For dessert, gelato giant Messina will be dishing up an apple galette made from rescued apples from Farmers Pick.

Marketgoers can also enjoy drinks by some of the best local bars, breweries and bottle stores, including Cantina OK!, Re, Jacoby’s Tiki Bar, Archie Rose Distillery, Atomic, Wildflower, The Grifter, P&V Wine + Liquor Merchants and more.

While there will be plenty to eat on the night, don’t forget to take home some goodies for later. Shop the best in sustainable produce, with stalls by LP’s Quality Meats, Bondi Oysters, Vanella Cheese, La Bastide, and more.

From Wednesday, March 15 at 9am our subscribers will have the chance to purchase their tickets early, getting a jump on the general public. But be sure to get in quick, as this event always sells out!

The Carriageworks Night Market presented by Carriageworks and Vivid Sydney will be held on Friday, June 16, from 5-10pm. Tickets are $15. Stallholders will be announced in early May.
