Grab your coat, we're going shopping!
It’s a tall order asking a Sydneysider to get out of bed early during a chilly July but we think you’re going to leave that snooze button when you hear what’s on this month. The Carriageworks Winter Market is returning to showcase some of Australia’s best seasonal produce with live talks, cooking demonstrations and hands-on workshops. The winter market kicks off on Saturday, July 8 from 8am – 1pm so there’s plenty of time to visit the 60 stallholders selling their delicious wares.

The free public program features a live cooking demonstration with World Porridge Championships finalist Toby Wilson (Ricos Tacos), who will share his top tips in the art of making this wintery breakfast, a deep dive into the world of truffles with Hartley Truffles owner Jane Austen, and the first in a series of planting workshop with First Nations Fellowship recipient Henrietta Baird.

Get cosy with Crumpets by Merna, warm up with a Wildflower ale, and get snug with a Single O coffee while you celebrate the absolute best of the chilly months. Crowd favourites Pepe Saya butter will be on show, as well as Yulli’s Brews, Vannella Cheese, Pecora Dairy and Condimental to name a few.
The Carriageworks Winter Market will be held on July 8, from 8am-1pm.
