Ready to experience la dolce vita? Our August issue is bound to make your dolci dreams come true.
Daydreams of an Italian getaway conjure images of many things – think historic cities, iconic architecture and sun-dappled Mediterranean vistas – but the thing travellers love most about this enchanting nation has got to be its incredible cuisine. Good news for Italian food lovers: our new August issue is filled with Italian fare.
On the cover this month is our creamy espresso martini tiramisu – we challenge you to find a more seductive Italian dessert. This decadent dish is joined by creamy, coffee-infused desserts that would make nonna and nonno proud.

Yotam Ottolenghi gets mouths watering with his hearty baked pasta with a spicy twist. The flavour maestro’s one-pan pasta with harissa bolognese puts a welcomed spin on the Italian favourite. (And, dare we say, enhances it!).

Also bringing flavour to the pages is the artistically minded Rinaldo Di Stasio, Colin Fassnidge and Anthony Pularich (expect crispy, slow-cooked porchetta), Dan Pepperell from Sydney’s Alberto’s lounge, Trisha Greetree of 10 William Street (see below), Roman restauranteur Sarah Cicolini, and Darren Robertson.

Plus, The Studd Siblings share their favourite Italian cheese, River Cottage’s Gill Meller cooks up delicious wood-fired pizzas on the farm and Silvia Colloca brings her heritage to the table.

And, travelling in the name of good food, Christine Manfield visits the Eternal City, Nino Zoccali explores the Brescia region of Lombardy, Rosamund Brennan dives into Capri and Lee Tulloch warms up under the Tuscan sun.
There’s so much Italian deliciousness between the covers of the brand-new delicious. August issue. Get your copy today.
