Pip Edwards partners with Vittoria

PE Nation founder Pip Edwards talks mochas and partnering with Vittoria Coffee.

As a hive of non-stop activity, it’s unlikely that Australian fashion week would be possible without the provision of a steady stream of caffeine. Vittoria Coffee again kept the fashion pack perky at this year’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia, also taking the opportunity to dip their toe into the fashion world by partnering with rising style stars Pip Edwards.

Pip of PE Nation was one of the brands involved in the Fashion Series at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia. Joining her were fellow Australian labels Aje, Nicholas, Manning Cartell, We Are Kindred and Macgraw, who each designed coffee cups that were used at fashion week. Now the cups will be made available to the public, rolling out in Vittoria Coffee shops from the end of May.

“We loved the idea of working with Vittoria as they have had such an impact with the fashion series over the years, and we were honoured to be recognised and to join the stable of previous and existing designers. The Vittoria Series is such a fashion week staple, and the impact of the cups seen out and about during fashion week is exciting,” says Pip of her involvement.

As a self-confessed lover of a skim mocha (with extra choc), Pip says the partnership was a well suited one. “Its the perfect alignment – being in activewear and drinking coffee is a daily reality for most…. the synergies couldn’t be more perfect.”

PE Nation’s coffee cup design follows a similar aesthetic to the brand’s vibrant athleisure. “We wanted to showcase 2 of signature aesthetic prints – stripes and colour blocking and a star print that was key to the particular current collection. We knew it would have a great impact to have such designs on a cup,” explains Pip.
