Got a hot date this weekend? Don't let them get hangry

Fork up if you want that first date to turn into a second.

In news you totally already knew, researchers have confirmed that it’s a terrible idea to go on a date hungry. Duh.

The study, published in the journal Appetite, found that women are better primed for romance when they’re well-fed.

The female subjects fasted and then were asked to respond to romantic cues. The same cues were shown after a round of chocolate shakes and – believe it or not – the women were much more receptive. Even seasoned dieters, the researchers noted, responded more positively to the dates after indulging.

The message is clear, bachelors of Australia – drinks and coffee do not a good date make. Women need steak, fries, sandwiches, pasta. They want to be fed. Feed them, for the love of love.
