For the sweet tooth, the thought of having too much sugar can be an alien one. Obviously decadence is a mantra that Gelato Messina also embraces wholeheartedly, the gelato wizards have created a chain that is home to some of the more ostentatious of gelato flavours out there. Messina obviously also believes that the festive season is truly the time to let loose in terms of indulgence, having recently introduced The Christmas Coma.

The ‘care package’ has been crafted with chocolate lovers in mind. It’s the trifle to end all trifles, a layered concoction of Argentinian dulce de leche mousse,  red velvet cake, vanilla Chantilly cream, chocolate covered biscuit crumbs, Italian meringue, sour cherry and amarena cherry jelly, and lime gel.

But that’s not all. Messina have partnered the trifle with a litre bottle of Messina Brandy Custard, and a bag of choc-coated nuts to boot (it’s a care package after all). They are designed to be gifted, whether that’s to others or to yourself is up to you.

Each and every ingredient interwoven into the gift pack has been made in-house, with Messina Jersey Milk from the Messina Dairy. The pack also comes housed in a Messina-branded cooler bag, with built-in ice pack to ensure your trifle makes it home to its given destination as safe as can be.
