Anything off the trolley, dears?

Wands at the ready, a Harry Potter-themed competitive cooking show has received the green light by the Food Network, giving us mere muggles a glimpse into the magical world of baking.

Hosted by Weasley twins themselves, James and Oliver Phelps, the Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking series will be filmed at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, which was where the Harry Potter movies came to life.

The series will be set against the incredible backdrop of Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter, giving bakers and pastry chefs exclusive access to the film sets, including The Great Hall at Hogwarts, platform 9¾, Gringotts Wizarding Bank and The Burrow AKA the Weasley family home.

Chefs will compete to create iconic dishes from the books and movies, as well as original creations inspired by the Harry Potter universe.

If the format follows similar wizardy productions such as the studio’s quiz competition Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament of Houses, hosted by Helen Mirren, we’re anticipating bakers will be sorted into respective houses before battling it out for witch and wizard glory.

Based on nothing but vibes and years of nerding out over Harry Potter, we reckon Hufflepuffs would absolutely slay with cute and comforting frilly cakes, Ravenclaws will pull out the dry ice and alchemy, Slytherins will serve up avant-garde cheese courses, and Gryffindors are MIA but there’s ice cream in the freezer, help yourself.
