It’s full steam ahead for the Oxford St’s revival, with Brigade Dining, a new upscale restaurant for Woollahra’s The Light Brigade Hotel, officially opening today.

The hotel is only a stones throw away from Justin North’s Hotel Centennial and recently renovated local favourite The Bellevue Hotel.

Under direction of new owners the Baysfield Hotel Group,  existing two-storey restaurant has been completely renovated and rebranded, with a gastro-pub menu. Expect dishes such as maltagliati with king prawns and a cheffed-up pavlova (pictured above) with meringue drops and passfruit creme.

Coincidently, the Baysfield’s just sold their iconic Newport Arms hotel to the Merivale Group, who are about to launch The Paddington (with ex-Momofuku Siebo chef Ben Greeno at the helm), which is also on Oxford St. Check our Latest News section for more news tomorrow.
